Putting it all together. The one week program that will get the traffic flowing.

Okay...hopefully you've been following this blog with the previous to post that were made if not you may need to go back for a refresher because what I'm going to do in this article is show you how to put the three techniques together in a tight well organized schedule for you to follow.

You give this schedule one week of honest work like I suggest and you wont be able but help get traffic to your site. And I would appreciate it if you could come back to this page ( so bookmark it please) and comment on your results after you've tried it.

The key to anything successful is the organization behind it. My father always use to say that "If you run your life in an organized matter you'll always have the world at your finger tips because you'll know where everything is." This is how I've run my biz opps, my sites and my life. And dad hasn't been wrong yet.

The first thing your going to need to do is to prepare yourself mentally to set aside about an hour and a half a day for this procedure. Follow it everyday for a week and see what happens.

The second thing you want to do is to make at least 7 to 14 short one minute ( no longer than a minute and a half) videos of yourself promoting yourself and your site/product. These will be used for your video promotion campaign.

The key to promoting your product on site is to create a problem, agitate it then give a solution. Then tell the people to click on your link that will be promoting your site that appears underneath your video on the right hand side.

Ex: Hi I'm Morpheus and as you can see I'm a Zombie. Do you have a problem getting close to that special someone because of your putrid stench? I mean it's bad enough that our appetite for human flesh is frowned upon in certain cultures but when you smell like a landfill it just makes matters worse!! Well now there's a solution. Introducing Lysol Zx29 in the new 40oz. aerosol can.

It comes from the makers of Frebreeze, Oust,Clorox Bleach and The Dept of Sanitation. It'll have all you zombies smellin' like a fresh basket of laundry in no time. Now if they could just come up for something for rotting flesh...

Humorous but you get the point.

If you have a money making program maybe you want to talk about the economic times and how your program can benefit them through these times.

If you have a product to sell find a problem that your product can solve then create the problem for your audience, agitate it then present how your product can solve here problem.

Remember create a need for your product or else no one will need your product.

Step 1: The first thing you will need to do is open up your traffic exchange sites in your browser.
If you haven't read up on how this is done then go here now.

Now what you want to do is is surf these sites for a total of an hour a day...but you want to do it in 20min. chunks so that you can multitask with the other two techniques ( you'll see what I mean shortly). So go ahead and surf those ten sites you have up for 20mins.

Step 2: Go to your safelist and open them up and email your ads out to them..(remember to use the credit email feature with these programs or chances are no one will open up your email ad.

this should take about 10 to 15 min tops.

Step 3: Repeat Step 1

Step 4: Go to tube mogul and submit at one of your videos. Then go to You Tube and do the same but do it through your channel.

Step 5: Repeat Step 1.

That's it. Now here is the method behind the madness..

You have just completed 3 techniques that has your link pointing to your website from different directions...from the surfing each time you visit a site some one else visits your sites...do this for an hour a day and expect on an average about 30 to 50 hits a site. Multiply that by ten (the ten sites you were surfing) now multiply that by seven ( the number of days you will be doing it for) .

As for the safelists lists mail out to about anywhere between 2000 to over 50,000 members a day.

if only 1% of those 2000 open your letter and click on your link that's another 200 people a day that see your site.

And the videos...Once you build up your you tube channel and get really good at doing your videos you should be posting about two to three a day. If you only get 20 views a day on all of the sites that you post on through Tube mogul alone that's about a hundred people who will see your video that day. You will be starting out with one a week.

So by the end of the week you'll have seven videos on 5 to six different sites working for you.

Your emails will be working for you and you will be driving traffic to your site through your traffic exchange surfing.

The power of traffic exchanges...and there free!

If you have a product or a website to promote on the web and your on a tight budget ( and who isn't these days ) then you might want to look into traffic exchange sites to help drive traffic to your sight.


Simply put a traffic exchange sight does just that..exchange traffic...once you sign up for any of the free sites ( I will give you the top ones I use for free at the end of this article) you will then surf and view other members sites and your website will then be viewed by others. The more sites you view the more views or hits your sites get. This is an excellent way to to drive traffic to your site for free. I usually surf about 100 sites a day and I belong to 10 different sites. 1000 hits a day for free!

Now you do have the option to upgrade on these sites ( some for as little as 5.95 a month). As an upgraded member you get more perks such as more views to your sight than a free member would and a monthly allotment of credits that can be used to drive even more traffic to your site.

The free method is a good way for some one who is new and just getting started in promoting there sites. They can try out different traffic exchanges and see which ones benefits them before making the choice to pay in to the membership if they choose to so.

Now to harness the real power behind these traffic sites here's what you need to do:

1- join at least seven to ten of the top ten sites. ( you could take the time to google them but as I've said before I have a list of sites that are doing well for me that you can sign up for free and start using today)

2- Set yourself up so that you can use all the exchanges up at the same time instead of just using them one by one (remember you want to work smart not hard) follow the following steps for each site.

: These steps are for Internet explorer 7 because that's the browser I use. You can set yourself up in a similar way on FireFox if that's what you have but I can only talk about what I know about.

First thing you want to do is click on the favorites button on you browser. then go to Add to Favorites. Click the create folder button. The new window that comes up will ask you to name your new folder. You can name it whatever you want but for simplicity's sake lets just say you'll call it Traffic exchange sites. Hit the create button when your done.

: Now after creating your folder you will need to register yourself to the traffic exchange sites of your choice. The ones I have listed below are free for you to use and they are doing very well for me. After registering yourself as a member and validating the email link sent to you for verification save the members log in page as a favorite in the folder you just created.

To do this just go to the favorites button then go to add to favorites and then just drop down the create in window until you see the folder you just created and save it in that folder.

The next step will be registering your site(s) links to the exchange sites. Each exchange site has an easy process that will walk you through this.

Now do this for every site you want to want to join. I personally suggest at least eight to ten and you'll see why in a minute.

Okay this process should take you about 10- 15minutes. The hard parts done.

Now lets go get that traffic.
Go to the folder with your exchange sites (but don't open it) right click on the folder and click on
open in tab group. This will bring up all the sites you saved up as once.
Once there all up sign in to them with your user name and password.

Hit the start surf button on each site. And now your off. A new web page should load into each site you logged into. Each one will have a count down clock. When the clock runs out you are instructed to click on a matching icon to proceed to the next site for you to view. Once the icon is clicked the site loads a new page and you get credit for viewing that site. Now do this for all the sites you have up.

As you can see the credits will start to add up. These are what you use to get hits to your site. After your finished surfing for the day. You can transfer the credits to your site which will in turn put your site that many times into the rotater of the exchange your using.

So for example; you've received a total of 100 credits when your done surfing. That means that after you've transferred those credits to your site you've registered you will receive 100 visits to your site.
If you multiply that by the number of exchange sites your working at once that can mean alot of hits to your site. This is why I say that around 10 sites is a good rule of thumb.
I use this technique four days out of the week and average around 7500 to 8000 hits a week.

Here's the thing...if you work these exchange sites on an inconsistent basis then you will be very disappointed. The key is consistency. I first started out with 6 days a week and worked the sites for 45mins. to an hour a day (broken down in twenty minutes increments if I had to ) but at the end of the day you will have to work it if you want it to work.

Now I do it for 35 to 45mins a day four days out of the week because I supplement it with other techniques that I use (these will be written on later so be sure to save this blog as a favorite...shameless plug ).

If you use this technique the way as described here you will see the traffic increase to your site.

Alright I know I said I'd have this out by the 2nd but I got caught up with other issues in my life so I didn't have the time to put this up until now, so let's just jump right in.

One of the most important things in life is being able to feel comfortable enough around some one to trust them. If the trust isn't there then the relationship just wont work.

The same goes for when your marketing your business. And one of the best ways for people to get to know you a little better and feeling comfortable around you is to see who your are. You. Your face. Your voice. Your personality. Because when you boil it all down it's not the product that sells...it's you who sells the product...or to put it another way it is you the customer is buying into. If they feel comfortable about you then they'll inquire about your product.

The best way to market your self online is through what is known as viral video; translation You Tube, Meta Cafe, Yahoo video just to name a few.

Now you might be asking yourself "Me in front of a camera trying to sell something and then putting it out there on the web, yeah right!"

Let me ask you something. ( And here's where the blunt part of my personality is going to come out so be warned).

Do you think that any of the people you see on you tube promoting their products are salesmen or women??? NOT!!!!

The next time your on You tube take a really good look at these men and women. You won't see salespeople. You wont see anybody trying to cut a deal with what they have or trying to jam something down your throat or making you feel like if you don't buy what they have then your the most worthless person on earth.

NO!

What you will find are people talking about how they themselves are benefiting from what they are promoting and how they genuinely believe that if you join their program or get their product it will help benefit you to. And after you join their programs or niche or whatever it is their promoting they will help you become successful and not just leave you high and dry after you've forked over your cash.

Like I said before...TRUST. That's what's it's all about.

You don't have to sell anything but yourself with Viral video marketing and that should be a product your familiar with.

Now let's start with making the video.

"What in the name of God am I going to say?!" you ask

Well, start of with "Hello my name is....."

See the thing about making you first video is it's like meeting some one new. There just getting to know you and you want to have a conversation with then and as long as you know what your talking about then your good to go.

So have a topic in mind and just talk about it as if it were you and one of your friends, only difference is now is your friend is the camera. You don't need a script just speak your mind and have your topic relate to your product. When people see you start to talk about something you know about they will and your being HONEST about it they can feel that. And they will listen.
And the more they listen the more they will begin to trust you.. And the more they trust YOU they will be more into what you have to offer them.

YOU first Product second. It's that simple. Don't make it complicated. The product is not the priority here it's a means to an end. If you come off like a jerk or a shyster no one will come near you or your product no matter what you have.

Once you get comfortable putting up a few videos and people like what they see they will ask you to become their friends on the Video medium your using and they're are many of them out there. And they're are various techniques on getting your video in front of all those people who are watching.

And I'll also point you in the right direction on how to get the info needed to set up your channels on You tube and how to get other people to come visit your channel and how to have a healthy number of friends in a short matter of time if your willing to put some time into it (after all with no effort nothings going to happen).

So to recap the tools you'll need to get your traffic going with viral video marketing are:

1. YOU. Be honest and believable and yourself because if you try to fake this step your sunk.

2. Know what your talking about and have a conversation about it with your market.

3. A network of video sites that you can broad cast your video onto and the techniques needed to drive people to your video.

Traffic is key but you want to do it the right way and you want to work smart and not hard to get it.

Welcome tho the revamped version of my blog. The purpose of this blog is simple, to let you know of legitimate ways to promote your business and legitimate business to promote that you can become affiliates with and make money with if promoted properly.

I will also be sharing promotional techniques I use that has helped get the traffic I need to the sites I have been working on.

So let's get started shall we? OK first things first. If your just starting out in the online business world congrats! You have entered a world where you will learn something new every day. You will make mistakes on the way (trust me on this, i will be sharing mine with you ). If you don't get frustrated, learn what you did wrong and apply the proper techniques that come with running an online business you will become successful in time. I say in time because that is exactly what it's going to take.

T-I-M-E.

If your trying to do this for a quick fix and expect to live like a king within a weeks time then I'm sorry to tell you but you have the wrong blog page. Please, look elsewhere.

Oh yeah that's another thing I should mention. I have the tendency to be blunt at times. It's just my nature. Figured I'd let that out the bag now since transparency is the key to trust. If I'm going to be sharing information with you then we might as well trust each other.

With that said I'm going to let you in on the first mistake I made when I started out with my online business.

I set up a website through amazon selling video games called watchandplay.com. I paid 10 bucks a month to keep the sight up, registered the sight to the online engines as they instructed and waited for absolutely for NOTHING TO HAPPEN....FOR THREE MONTHS!!!! And you know what I said (say it with me now) "This thing doesn't work , I got ripped off!"

And I quit.

STUPID NEW GUY MISTAKE #1 : Set up website BEFORE researching ways to get traffic to it and expect it to run itself.

Yes that is exactly what I did. It was after that time when a co -worker had set up a similar site through amazon and showed me one of her commission checks...It doesn't matter how much it was for the point is she got paid. So of course I asked her what she was doing. She told me ten different ways she was getting the word out on the web. She showed me her traffic counter on her web page that averaged several hundred hits a day (again it doesn't matter how many hits she was getting ...she was getting more than me). Then I got mad! I wasted three months of my time doing nothing and expecting something to happen...and then had the nerve to blame the website for being a rip off. Then I did my home work. I looked into what she was doing and how she was doing it and told myself that if this stuff works I would give myself a try again.

Six weeks later I started up another venture known as cash gifting. You get a free site and a whole slew of info on how to get traffic to your site and you know what? Six out of the ten methods my friend was using were given on this site through video tutorials.

I have tried the methods through trial and error have found the best techniques that work for me.

I am going to share with you the very first technique that started to drive serious traffic to my sight right now.

Another thing about me you need to know is this...I WILL ONLY SHARE TECHNIQUES WITH YOU THAT I KNOW WORK BECAUSE I AM USING THEM AND THEY HAVE GIVEN ME RESULTS. ALSO THE TECHNIQUES I WILL SHARE WITH YOU WILL FOR THE MOST PART WILL BE FREE. IF THERE IS A COST INVOLVED WITH ANYTHING I TALK ABOUT ON THIS BLOG YOU WILL BE MADE AWARE OF IT.

Okay, the first and most effective way that started getting traffic to my site were safe lists.

A safe list is a mailing list where all members can mail to each other. These emails cannot be considered as spam because every member has opted (signed) in and confirmed their email address. A safe list can be used to advertise websites, business opportunities and so forth.

The people who opt in to safe lists are LOOKING for what you have to offer. It's like a classified ad but instead of you putting the ad out there and hoping people answer it, your sending your ad to the people who want to see it. Most sites that have safe list have two types of mailing strategies regular emailing and emailing for credits. The credit based emailing has given me the best results because the people who open your mail get credits for visiting your sight and they have to stay on your sight for at least 15 to 20 seconds giving them time to check your sight out.

NOW HERE'S THE THING...

The sights start you off with a certain amount of credits to start off with and the number of people you email your ad to depletes the number of credits you have (ex..you start off with 1500 credits...which is normal for most sites...you email off your add to 800 people and your left with

900 credits). To get more credits you can purchase more credits which are really cheap ( the sites that I use run about 5 bucks for around 2500 credits).

These sites also have memberships that you can sign up for if you choose ..but that's up to you...memberships run from anywhere between 7 to 20 bucks a month depending on the type of memberships you get.

SO HERE IS WHAT HAPPENED AFTER I TRIED THIS

I signed up for three of the safe lists that were suggested on the site that I run.

Each site had a membership of around 8500 members at the time. That's around 255,000 people I had the chance of getting my business in front of.

In total with all three sights I sent out a campaign to about 6500 people..(remember you only have a certain amount of credits to work with when you sign up for free and extra credits can be purchased.

These mailings went out on Sunday. The web page counter on my sights stat at that time read 60 hits. I finised my mailing campaign with the three safe list sights at around 11:15 pm. The whole process took about 45 minutes.

My wife was upset because I got to bed late. (Just keeping it real )

I checked my web page stats at around 12:15 pm the next day and found out that 167 people had visited my sight and 3 of them had signed in for more information about joining up.

That an increase of about 35% in traffic in one day. And about 2% of the people who visited took the time to sign up for more info.

In this business that isn't bad to start off with . When I had the chance to check my sight again it was about 5pm. The counter was up to 189. No one else had opted in for more info but I was pleased with the traffic I was getting.

When I checked my site on Tuesday morning I had a total of 229 hits and another opt in.

At the end of the night I had a total of 289 hits and 6 opt ins within two days time.

This technique has been the foundation of driving traffic to my site.

I am now member of 12 sites that I work with faithfully that have driven major traffic to me and has helped me to receive sign up to my sites as well.

This is just one of the methods that I am using to get the much needed traffic to my sites that I have up.

The second thing I've used is the video viral market.

You Tube, Meta cafe and others where you have the potential of exposing yourself and your market to literally millions of people......
